How to install Python2.7 in Linux
Python is an easy to learn, powerful programming language. It has efficient high-level data structures and a simple but effective approach to object-oriented programming. Step1: Install dependencies
#yum install gcc
Step2: Download the package
#wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.13/Python-2.7.13.tgz
Step3: Extract the downloaded package
#tar xzf Python-2.7.13.tgz
Step4: Change the location to the extracted folder
#cd Python-2.7.13
Step5: Compile and install the package
#./configure
#make altinstall
